YES, I would like to become a MEMBER, or Renew my MEMBERSHIP in Cardinal Land Conservancy!
Your help is needed as we continue our outreach efforts to landowning families, monitor land under our protection, raise funds to purchase land, and help the public understand how land conservation benefits our quality of life.
As a member, you help protect lands near your home and across southwest Ohio. Our goal is to help keep our communities livable — by working to preserve the land itself so it may continue to be a resource for future generations. We greatly appreciate your tax-deductible membership contribution.
What we need from you: We need your membership and your participation. We’ll spend your money wisely and give you an accurate accounting of it.
What can you expect in return: Membership in a local land trust that is dedicated to working for you. CLC’s goal is to keep our communities livable — by working to preserve the land itself so it may continue to be a resource for future generations.
VOLUNTEER with us. We are in need of volunteers to work on a variety of projects. Land trusts are in the forever business, and that means that we have a responsibility to maintain lands that we own and sustain easements over time. Stewardship volunteers might help with native tree plantings, invasive removal, or with monitoring conservation easements to ensure they are undisturbed by development or other infringement. Education volunteers might help lead workshops and coordinate hikes, or other events. This kind of outreach is how we give back and reconnect with our community. Administrative volunteers might work with our staff on a huge variety of projects. This work keeps all other parts of the organization moving. Volunteer for a folding party before a newsletter mailing, or to update a mailing list. Need for volunteers increases in the months before our annual events, lend a hand with our Earth Day Dinner, Spring Wildflower Hike, Annual Meeting, or host a new event for Cardinal. For an up-to-date list of volunteer opportunities, visit our News page. Send volunteer interest forms to email@example.com and Let us know what skills you might bring to the table!
When you include Cardinal in your estate plan, you ensure that clean water, food security, and access to greenspace are part of your legacy. There are several ways to support our work including outright gifts, bequests by will, and stock transfers. Cardinal Land Conservancy Inc. is an Ohio nonprofit 501 (c)(3) charitable corporation.
